Arachnophobia Therapy Unity App

Arachnophobia Therapy

Introduction:

Arachnophobia Therapy is a (as i don’t have VR devices so i use FPS starter kit by unity) FPS application that enables arachnophobics to progressively confront their phobia in a secure setting.

Description:

This applicaton for arachnophobia therapy has a virtual environment with several spiders. The user can begin in a setting with a little, non-threatening spider before advancing gradually to situations with larger, more dangerous spiders.

With the use of a mouse and keyboard, the user may navigate the virtual worlds. Using the controls, they can communicate with the spiders as well. The user may click on a spider, for instance, and investigate or even pet it.

A deep breathing exercise and a relaxation method are only two of the things the Arachnophobia Therapy offers to assist users in managing their anxiety.

The Arachnophobia Therapy application aids in immersing the user more fully in the virtual setting. When interacting with the spiders, the user may see their own body in the virtual setting and feel their hands and fingers. This makes the virtual world feel more real, which can increase the effectiveness of exposure treatment.

Interaction Design:
